Personal Meaning Objectives

 I’m very excited to explore all kinds of media. As a traditional artist, I want to get out of my comfort zone and experiment with digital materials.

My top three learning goals are: 

1. Open to experimentation and failure: my work doesn't have to be a masterpiece; rather, it only needs to be natural. I hope to honor my sketches, failed attempts, struggles, and new ideas.

2. Let materials guide me into meaning-making: instead of planning ideas ahead, I hope my ideas emerge naturally through the interaction between me and the materials.

3. Learn about the possibilities and limits of each material:  learning about each material through playing. Be able to combine different materials to convey my concepts.
